Superstars of Barcelona Lionel Messi and
Neymar have been reported back in training on Tuesday after the FIFA World Cup
at Brazil a month ago. Along with the Duo stars these two were also reported
back in training - Dani Alves and Javier Mascherano.
Barcelona’s Messi and Mascherano both
contributed heavily on the world cup tour all the way to the finals, and whilst
Dani Alves played a role in Brazil coming fourth in the World Cup. With the addition
of a new headcoach, Luis Enrique who replaced Gerardo Martino will now have
these key players vacant for selection in pre-season.
During the World cup, Neymar suffered a
back injury which made him unable to play for the Semis against Germany and
also the third place game against Netherlands. This has been assessed by the
medical team of Barcelona and he will have his own recovery and training
session.
Barca’s pre-season hasn’t been too
significant with only a victory of 1-0 against Recreativo Huelva and a draw
against Nice for the 2014-15 seasons. They will have three more friendlies
before they can start their Season on 24th of August.
Since the key players will be returning
soon enough, the Manager, Luis Enrique will be anticipating a more successful season
back home with only just a Supercopa win last season.
