10. Rivaldo 



Played for Barcelona for 5 years formed a duo with Patrick Kluivert which won them the La Liga champions in 1998 and 1999 and also the Copa Del Rey in 1998. He was known for free kicks, dribbling, passing and overhead kicks!





9. Josep "Pep" Guardiola

Pep Guardiola was a defensive midfielder known as a key figure for Johan Cruyff team which he had a similar style of play to Xavi and Iniesta. With Pep Guardiola serving as the teams foundation , Barcelona won four consecutive titles in a row and won Barcelona's first champions league title in 1992. 

 

8. Cesar Rodriguez

 An olden day player of the sport. Cesar was known to many as a legend of Barcelona. He is still the leading league goalscorer for Barcelona with 192 goals scored.

7. Johan Cruyff

One of the greatest of all time, Johan Cruyff guided his team to their first league title ever since the 1960s in his first season for Barcelona and received the Ballon d'Or awards in the process and winning it again the following season. 

6. Carles Puyol

This man might go down as Barcelonas best defender. He captained for ten years for the team winning 21 titles including 6 La Liga titles and 3 Champions league titles in the process. He was nicknamed "The wall" for his playstyle is rough and explosive.

5.Samuel Eto'o

Samuel Eto'o was a striker who played for Barcelona for 5 years and scored over 100 goals, won 3 La Liga titles and two Champions League title. 

4.Andres Iniesta

One of the greatest Barcelona midfielders of all time,  Andres Iniesta  has one the best balance and ball control in the game aswell as a good agility and vision. 

3. Xavi Hernandez

 Along with Iniesta, Xavi is also considered to be one of greatest Barcelona midfielder of all time. He is the record holder for most games played for Barcelona. Xavi is a dictator in game and his ability to find and exploit space is amazing. Paired up with Iniesta in the centre they perfected the style of tiki taka along with Messi and Sergio Busquets.

2. Ronaldinho

 Whats there to say about Ronaldinho? This man was reknown as attacking midfielder/forward who was known for his fast dribbling, skillful tricks and free kicks. He won FIFA world player of the year awards consecutively in 2004 and 2005, one ballon d'Or award in 2005, two La Liga titles 2004 and 2005 and one champions league  in 2006 which makes him a legend for Barcelona and the sport.

1. Lionel Messi

Messi has been considered to be the greatest of all time. He is the only player to have won the Ballon d'Or four times in subsequent years and won 6 La liga titles and 3 Champions league titles. His playstyle is quick on the feet, considered as a master of dribbling with speed and has good balance, ball control and vision. His playstyle can be comparable to Diego Maradonas. Messi is the leading goalscorer in all competitions for Barcelona
